Earlier this spring, I needed a new aerator for my bait bucket. I was tired of fighting battery powered aerators as batteries just continue to get more expensive and I never seem to have the kind of battery I need on hand when I need it. Searching for a new aerator I ran across the KEDSUM Rechargeable Aerator Pump and it has worked flawlessly for me this year.
Run Time: The KEDSUM aerator boasts a working time of 12-15 hours continous. It also has an intermittent mode that will boost the total working time on one charge to 17-20 hours. I have taken this unit on multiple 4-6 hour fishing trips running it on intermittent mode and it lasted all that time on one charge.
Sound: This aerator is EXTREMELY quiet. You can barely here it running when you turn it in. You can feel it running better than you can hear it running. Minimum decibels as advertised is 35db which is about as loud as a ticking watch. Again, it is very quiet.
What’s in the Box: Along with the aerator, you get several other accessories in the box (shown below). I was very pleased with the generous length of tubing they provide with this unit. They give you two six foot pieces of tubing. It also comes with 4 air stones, 2 check valves, and Type-C charging cable that can be plugged into a 120V outlet to provide continuous power if needed.
Mounting: This unit has a sturdy hook on the back that mounts nicely to my Challenge 5 Gallon Bucket Lid with Bait Opening. I just use a standard 5 gallon bucket for my minnows with the aforementioned bucket lid and my bait stays alive all day with this aerator. If you are looking for a hassle-free, ultra quiet aerator that will run all day on a single charge, I highly recommend the KEDSUM Rechargeable Aerator Pump.
