Get Out Fishing was born out of a long time friendship. Jim and Brian met in their freshman year of high school. They grew up fishing in Tennessee and moved to North Carolina in 1996. North Carolina is a fisherman’s paradise. From central North Carolina where they live, they have access to all kinds of fishing. Saltwater fishing can be done along the coast, and freshwater fishing can be done in various lakes and rivers around the state along with trout fishing in the mountain streams of Western North Carolina. No matter what type of fishing they are doing, they are continually learning and they love to share what they learn about fishing with others. For them, fishing is about community and that is what they hope to create with Get Out Fishing. A community of people who love all types of fishing and who love sharing their passion for fishing with others.
